After a few attempts over the last several months we finally managed to get Barb Piggott to Dubbo for a well received 'Improve your game' coaching day.
The morning started out rainy and windy, so the initial introductionary lesson was gived undercover. Fortunately the rain stopped everybody got out on the lawns to participate in the practical work of the tuition.
It was indeed nice to get all the basic methods and playing tactics reinforced by Barb. Members may not always believe what the 'local guy' tries to teach them, but hopefully now that it has been reinforced, and demonstrated, by a professional, maybe there's hope.
So, thank you to Barb Piggott for braving the weather and the long trip from Sydney. We had a great morning of instruction.
